LAPE Spring Workshop- New Challenges for Banks and Financial Stability

LAPE workshops are small meetings featuring a limited number of high-quality papers with the aim of fostering discussion among academics, policymakers, and practitioners about the evolving challengers facing banks. For the 2025 Spring Workshop, we expect to accept for presentation about six full papers and six short presentations in the PhD/Young Scholar sessions.

PhD/Young Scholar sessions with short presentations (5 minutes) are aimed for Junior Researchers who are in their last year of PhD program or Scholars who have recently (last 3 years) acquired their PhD degree.

Preferred Topics: Bank Risk and Regulatory Implications, Financial Stability, Systemic Risk, Liquidity Risk, Capital and Liquidity, Failure Resolution and Total Loss Absorbing Capacities, Capital Structure, Ownership Structure and Governance in Banking, Bank Market Structure, Competition, Lending Behavior, Fintech, Climate Change and ESG.
