Call for papers Poster Session: The Euro Area: Staying the Course through Uncertainties, Paris, 28-29 March 2019
THE EURO AREA:
STAYING THE COURSE THROUGH UNCERTAINTIES
The Banque de France (BDF) & the European Money and Finance Forum (SUERF) invite researchers to submit papers for the BDF Symposium & 34th SUERF Colloquium, which will take place in Paris on 28-29 March 2019, on the topic of “The Euro Area in an Uncertain World”.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the euro, a Symposium will be held on March 28-29, 2019 at the Banque de France, in Paris, co-organized with the European Money and Finance Forum (SUERF). It will be the 34th Colloquium of SUERF.
Three main themes will be debated:
- Coping with International shocks
- Addressing the Impact of Brexit
- Conducting Monetary Policy in Heterogeneous AreasSpeakers include among others (by alphabetical order): Lorenzo Bini Smaghi (SocGen), Laurence Boone (OECD), Agustin Carstens (BIS), Richard Clarida (FRB), Christine Lagarde (IMF), Jean Lemierre (BNPParibas), Lucrezia Reichlin (LSE), Hélène Rey (LBS), Jean Tirole (TSE) and Jean-Claude Trichet (ECB, former President).
CALL FOR PAPERS Papers selected via this Call will be presented in a poster session. Papers published prior to the Colloquium are not eligible. The best paper by authors under the age of 40 will be granted the Marjolin Prize 2019 (EUR 2,500).
Interested authors are invited to submit their papers by e-mail attachment in pdf format to SUERF at suerf@oenb.at by December 18 2018.
