Call for papers - Congrès AFSE 2018

SUBMISSION

The French Economic Association (AFSE) and the Paris School of Economics invite you to submit a paper to the 67th Annual Meeting of the French Economic Association that will take place at PSE, in Paris, France, from Monday May 14 to Wednesday May 16, 2018. The congress will be entirely in English.

Online submissions open at noon November, 15, 2017

They will close at midnight on February, 1, 2018

Submitting a Paper

Submissions of full papers are invited from academic, government and business economists in any field of economics. Papers borrowing methodologies from other sciences are very welcome too. Please, visit the 2018 AFSE Congress website for full information on AFSE Paris 2018 and instructions on how to submit your paper. Also, note that the submitting author must be a member of the AFSE in order to submit a paper. 

Submitting a Paper to Sessions co-organized by our Partner Associations

Each year, the AFSE Congress welcomes special sessions co-organised by partner associations as the Revue d'Economie Industrielle, the French Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (FAERE); the French Association of Experimental Economics (ASFEE), the French Cliometric Association (AFC), the French Health Economics Association, the Association de Science Régionale de Langue Française (ASRDLF), The French Economic Association of Law and Economics (AFED), the French Association of Energy Economists (FAEE), the Research networks in International Economics and Finance (RIEF), The French Economic History Association (AFHE), the Association Charles Gide Society for the study of Economic Thought (Gide) and the French Association for Digital Economy.

The papers must be submitted in the same way as all other papers for the AFSE congress (see above).

  • Inaugural Lecture : Jean Tirole (Toulouse School of Economics)
  • Jean-Jacques Laffont Lecture : Abhijit Banerjee (MIT)
  • Presidential Lecture : Agnès Bénassy-Quéré (Paris School of Economics)
  • Closing Lecture Angus Deaton (Princeton University)

And also Partners sessions, “jobs for economists” sessions and round tables.
